Which song of yours is your personal favorite?
I would say Paved The Way featuring Dondray Da Don and NGB Skully. That song sets the tone for me. In the lyrics I say: "Came in the game swinging, Foreign Plug my name but I wasn’t even streaming." Which in the beginning I wasn’t streaming I paved my way hence the song and created my own journey. I also said: "God gave me a gift so I had to show y’all what I could do now." It was like a wake up call for whoever doubted I could actually rap or be an artist overall.
Who is your top female artist right now?
I would say currently I like a lot of underrated female artist. Just to name a few like K Lajuan, Pretty Brayah, SunniThaRapper, Big Indo, Cammy GotBarz, and Rican Da Menace. They are all fresh faces who music go super hard. Maybe a collaboration with a few or all of them will come in the future.
Have you been naughty or nice this year?
That one made me laugh. I have been nothing but nice this year. I’ve been through storms and back and remained solid always. I’ve been laid back this year I’m finally about to pop back out with this next project Interstate Plug the album before this year out.
What are your top three favorite candies or snacks? I love sour candy hands down. I’m talking like sour patches and cry baby gum. I also love nerds clusters. I’m not really into cakes like that but I do like the ones with strawberry filling.
What has been the best era in music to you?
I would honestly say the late 90s to the early 20s. HipHop was so different. Everybody had their own style and identity. Now days a lot of people sound the same or similar and aren’t versatile. We hear a lot of samples remade from the times when music was iconic. When it comes to my music I try to be as versatile and out the box as possible.
What was the last book you read? Hmm, to be honest a medical terminology book. Boring stuff since I’m currently in school for pharmacy. You know as an artist and entrepreneur, you have to always have a back up plan for a back up plan.
Which season do you like the most and why? I would say fall is my favorite season outside of summer. Summer is only because my birthday is in June, but fall time is a vibe. I love the color orange plus apple cider is my fave. It’s like fall sparks off the entire holiday feel and vibe.
Have you ever broken a bone, had surgery, or been into a fight/brawl? I have never broken anything ever, but I have had surgery. I had tonsils and adenoids removed way back in like 1st grade. I was that kid that always had strep throat unfortunately. I also had another surgery but I won’t go until details lol. And to that question yes I have been in fights before but never a brawl.
If you could go back to one time in your life and redo something, when would you go back too and what would you change?
If I could go back to a time in life to change something I would normally say when my dad got deported. But, if that didn’t happen, maybe I wouldn’t be the artist I am today. That played a big factor in my childhood. I watched my mom go hard her whole life for me and still do for me and my siblings. While my dad is in another country I treat him no less. That’s my dad and did what he could. And when he was here he did it all. I love both my parents. I owe them everything and then some especially my mom.
What is a motivational quote for next year and where can people connect with you?
A motivation quote for me this year is “Go Big On Big And Step Everything Up Times 10” This is my year to make my name ring harder than no other. I have to bring it and put my name, face, and brand everywhere and anywhere you can imagine.
