Listen as the drum detonates. Bass Dhol surges forward like a procession at midnight, where heritage meets strobe light and the bass feels ancestral. Pakistan-born, London-based force Ahadadream returns with a record that commands the body to move. Punjabi dhol rhythms crack through propulsive electronic production, fusing South Asian tradition with club-ready velocity. From sessions that began in Miami in early 2023, the collaboration finds Skrillex amplifying Ahad’s percussive architecture while Raf-Sappera’s commanding vocal presence slices cleanly through the chaos. In a way that feels both rooted and radical, Ahad shared:
The beginnings of 'Bass Dhol' were back in early 2023, when Sonny invited me to work on music together in Miami. That’s when I played him some Raf Saperra too, he loved the vibe and we thought he’d be perfect for this track. Early versions of the track have been getting played since back then, so I’m super happy to finally see this officially going out into the world in its final form.

The result is tightly coiled, skittish, and relentless that's unmistakably London in energy, yet global in scope. The single follows the breakout momentum of TAKA, which dominated tastemaker circuits and BBC Radio 1 with rare triple-crown acclaim. With "Bass Dhol," Ahadadream doubles down on a sound that pulls culture inward instead of sanding it down for mass appeal. It’s celebration without compromise. Listen to "Bass Dhol" now.
