Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon returns with his all-star musical collective Rogue Oliphant for Hit Machine. It's the latest single from their forthcoming album Visible From Space. As a sonic dialogue between conflict and chemistry, the track spins a witty, emotional homage to songwriting duos and complicated partnerships alike. “Hit Machine” lands somewhere between Cole Porter and Dave Grohl, merging Muldoon’s razor-sharp spoken word with Warren Zanes’ melodic counterpoint. Zane's had to say:
‘Hit Machine’ seems to be about two songwriters, but it’s really about anyone building something beautiful with someone they wildly differ from.

Produced by the iconic Tony Visconti and engineered by 4x GRAMMY® winner Kevin Killen, "Visible From Space" is Muldoon’s most sonically daring project yet. Backed by a powerhouse lineup, including Cáit O’Riordan, David Mansfield, Chris Harford, Ray Kubian, and Zanes, each track becomes a portal between poetry and performance, literary elegance and garage-band grit. Listen to “Hit Machine" below as proof that Muldoon’s lyrical worlds are just as boundless as the musicians bringing them to life. Pre-save "Visible From Space," and catch Paul Muldoon & Rogue Oliphant live at NYC’s Joe’s Pub on September 3
