Not every band builds momentum, some feel like they’re bending time as they move. Experimental duo Angine de Poitrine continue a forward surge as they announce a run of North American live dates alongside their upcoming album Vol. II, arriving April 3. Known for their microtonal approach and high-voltage performances, the group blends acid techno, disco, and rock into something mechanical and euphoric. Their sound thrives on repetition that never quite repeats with evolving layered patterns which shift without warning. With these skills the duo stretch their framework further into the philosophy within "Vol. II."

Recent single Fabienk captures that evolution, of sharper contrasts and more dynamic arrangements, Critics have pointed to the band’s ability to lock complex rhythmic shifts into grooves that still feel immediate and physical. The announcement arrives alongside an ambitious international touring schedule. The duo will make their debut in several U.S. cities, including stops at Teragram Ballroom, The Independent, and The Atlantis, while returning to New York for sold-out shows at Le Poisson Rouge. Angine de Poitrine continues to carve out their rise by electrifying live performances and viral moments like their Live on KEXP performance.
