The song is like a warm window opening between Shuggie Otis and the calm glow of ’90s Weather Channel music. After the intensity of the road, relaxation never turns their stranger instincts sleepy. "Sunday Forecast" welcomes newcomers while leaving the door open to a much wider world. Speaking about the principles guiding MANIFEST, the trio shared:
Hermetic principles have guided the band since the beginning. We attribute our success to the strict following of those principles. Alchemy was never dabbling in chemistry; it was all an analogy for internal processes. True alchemy lies in knowing yourself, then committing entirely to that knowledge and purpose. We’ve tried our best to stick to these principles, and we have really tried to MANIFEST for the past half-decade.
Recorded across two years between tours, "MANIFEST" brings Balthazar Aguirre, Johanna Mercuriana, and Santiago Lizcano into one restless dialogue. Global styles, analog systems, and Christian Cifuentes’ production keep changing the chemistry. The sixth album arrives October 7 through Mixto Records.
