If your music were a flavor, what would it taste like and why?

It’d taste like smoky bourbon with a hint of dark chocolate—smooth, complex, a little melancholic, but with warmth. My music has that Spaghetti Midwestern twang that combines raw emotions and layered storytelling, like savoring something bittersweet and contemplative.

What's a quirky ritual you have before hitting the stage?

A Lot of vocal warm-ups and getting in the zone - not unlike an athlete preparing for a game. I take performing very competitively; the goal is to go out there and kick the song's ass.

What’s one social issue that you’re passionate about addressing through your platform?

Making the most of the time we have is a common theme in a lot of my music. I also emphasize not wasting your life working a job or being in a relationship that isn't where you want to be.

If you could time travel to any music era, which would it be and why?

I'd travel to the 50's to do a little solo like Marty McFly and blow some minds.

What’s the weirdest thing you've ever written a lyric about?

I have a song called Shelby Sewdwig about a woman who goes swimming and gets washed away into the ocean.

Do you believe in manifesting your goals, and if so, what’s something you've manifested recently?

Absolutely. I’ve always believed that if you focus your energy on something, it materializes in some form. Recently, I’ve been manifesting my directorial debut, a film I developed and have been focused on, and once you start believing in yourself and saying what you're going to do aloud, it's funny how quickly other people will associate that with you and believe in you as well.

If your life was a movie, what would the soundtrack be like?

I mean, Big Lebowski, dude! Although I don't hate The Eagles, I just don't particularly care for them ;)

What song from another genre do you secretly wish you had written?

Deacon Blues by Steely Dan. "They call Alabama the Crimson Tide, call me Deacon Blues"

How does your music help people see the world differently?

My music invites people to slow down and really feel—to reflect on the complex emotions that often go unspoken. Whether it’s heartbreak, healing, or nostalgia, I hope it gives people a moment of introspection and a different perspective on the everyday.

If you could have one superpower to enhance your artistry, what would it be?

I’d want the ability to pause time. There’s never enough time to capture all the ideas swirling in my head. Being able to stop the clock and dive into creativity without the pressure of deadlines would be a game changer.

What's one thing you want for the holidays and where can people connect with you?

For the holidays, I’d love to spend more time with my family and work on some personal passion projects. People can connect with me on Instagram (@ronnytibbs), where I often share behind-the-scenes stuff and new music updates.
