What’s been your favorite moment of your career thus far?

My favorite career moment was performing at State Farm Arena for the first time alongside other R&B legends. That night, I also had the chance to meet Tevin Campbell. What made it even more special is that I always said I wanted to perform there again—and I ended up performing there two more times after that.

How do you or your band typically travel around?

We usually roll in a Sprinter van or a black truck—whatever gets us and the gear there smoothly.

What’s the backstory behind your latest release?

I connected with the legendary Atlanta producer Mr. Hanky, who told me he had a record for me and the rest is history. Piece Of My Lovin' is classic R&B with a fresh sound. It’s a celebration and empowerment of women, a sensual but respectful vibe that I feel is missing in today’s R&B.

How long did it take before you made your first dollar off music?

If I had to guess, it took about 7 to 8 years.

When did you feel noticed by the music industry?

Truth be told, when my videos of singing covers started going viral on Instagram and TikTok and hitting over a million views.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done on stage?

The craziest thing I’ve done on stage was jumping off stage and jumping to the crowd having girls run baby oil on my chest.

What foods or drinks are you bringing to the cookout?

Hamburgers, lamb chops, and ribs.

How do you balance music and your personal time?

Truth be told, it’s a challenge—but I do my best to manage it. I believe we all need space and time to recharge. Every day, I try to do something that contributes to my career—even if it’s as small as thinking through a new idea.

Who’s on your dream collab list?

Future and PARTYNEXTDOOR—but I’m always open to working with anyone.
