Every scar tells a story, but the best ones prove you kept moving. Brian Fallon channels that spirit throughout the announcement of Not Bad For New Jersey. Produced by longtime collaborator Butch Walker, "Not Bad For New Jersey" embraces a lively collision of heartland rock, power pop, and wide-open songwriting. The album welcomes an impressive collection of contributors including Brandon Flowers, Phil Collen, Marc Ribot, and Lori McKenna. Leading the rollout is Pearls, a song which examines privilege and perseverance through Fallon’s unmistakable lens of blue-collar honesty. The track carries weight without becoming bitter, choosing reflection over resentment and growth over grievance.


It's his first solo album in more than five years and the project feels rooted in gratitude, resilience, and the stubborn determination which has defined his career. Whether fronting The Gaslight Anthem or stepping into his solo work, he consistently writes from the viewpoint of people trying to find meaning in the miles they've traveled. "Pearls" continues that tradition with conviction and heart. Beyond the record, he will bring these songs directly to fans through intimate performances at legendary venues including The Stone Pony and Troubadour before appearing at Riot Fest later this year. After nearly three decades of songwriting, Fallon still sounds inspired by possibility.
