With the world unraveling in algorithms and automated intimacy, Cafuné push back with raw, human approach with their latest single Attack + Release. The New York alt-pop duo of Noah Yoo and Sedona Schat, draw from their signature electro-rock fusion while infusing moody sax lines and a haunting atmosphere. A fusion of subdued defiance and longing, “Attack + Release” reflects Cafuné’s growing courage to hold a mirror up to both society and self, Co-produced by Yoo and Schat, the track features percussionist Connor Parks and saxophonist Alfredo Colón, whose additions lend the song a cinematic, late-night ache. The pair’s evolving creative tension reflects the emotional spiral of disconnection and faith. The band shared:
This song is about a crisis of faith; how people can lose their sense of self and belief in each other. Reject the cycle of cynicism because life is always a cycle of ebb and flow, here and gone, attack and release.

The song marks the second single from their forthcoming album Bite Reality, set to release September 12 via SoundOn. As seen in their earlier track e-Asphyxiation, the duo’s latest work lives inside the paradox of disconnection in the hyper-connected world. With over 1 billion streams on their viral hit Tek It and a history of digital impact (including their song being featured in Fortnite and sampled by Lil Uzi Vert), Cafuné are no strangers to online resonance. The Alive Online Tour will kick off this fall with support from crushed, offering fans a chance to hear the full emotional weight of Bite Reality in person.
