Charlie Jeer Lets "Take Away My Problems" Exhale

Written By: Big C

Charlie Jeer does not promise to solve the world on Take Away My Problems. Instead he offers somewhere to put it down for a while. The seven-track EP expands the UK multi-instrumentalist beyond the "jazz house" label which helped listeners recognize his saxophone-led sound as a signature without forcing it to sign every line. That energy remains, when the vocal, bass, or electronic pulse is allowed to answer first. Jeer explains that the title is less about escaping responsibility and more about finding a brief place to breathe. He explains:
'Take Away My Problems' isn't just another EP with seven love songs. It's a space away from the chaotic and problematic world we all live in. A journey towards peace, at times love is just a vehicle to that. Each song is really about finding somewhere to exhale, where the burden of life feels a little lighter.

My Madonna keeps the horn close to the center, while Small Talk with Cat Burns and SO GOOD with Simone Ashley show how his writing changes when another voice enters the conversation. Jeer has also built his live story through appearances at Formula 1 Silverstone and The Great Escape, along with an opening run for Becky Hill. Next comes a festival debut in China, a nearly sold-out European headline tour, and his first Australian dates, with XOYO in London already sold out. Press play when the day feels heavy, and let "Take Away My Problem" do exactly what its title offers. Connect with Charlie Jeer on INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, YOUTUBE, and SPOTIFY.
