Nearly everyone wrestles with sleep, but few translate that struggle into art as deeply as Adam Bokesch. The Nashville-based composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist unveils Light, Remembered, an ambient masterwork born from his own experience with insomnia and the fragile link between rest and creativity. Both intimate and expansive, each track unfolds like breath that's slow, deliberate, and alive with nuance. The album drifts between personal reflection and cultural critique, a sonic meditation on sleeplessness, stillness, and the healing power of sound. The project explores how modern overstimulation erodes our stillness and how music can restore it. Bokesch shares:
This project reflects my own cycles of sleeplessness and inspiration. It’s about slowing down in a world that rarely allows it, and finding art, reflection, and healing in the liminal space between waking and dreaming.

"Light, Remembered" surrounds the listener in an immersive environment that mirrors that half-conscious, twilight state where thought dissolves into texture. Layers of piano, synthesizers, strings, and horns converge in quiet motion, creating a landscape that feels both dreamlike and deeply human. Behind the record’s tranquility lies a meticulous ensemble of collaborators, including Eleonore Denig, Emily Rodgers, Cara Fox, and Kristin Weber on strings, with Roy Agee and Tara Johnson lending brass warmth. Engineered by Bokesch alongside Bobby Holland, and featuring string arrangements by Dustin Ransom, the album embodies an artisan’s approach to sound. Stream "Light, Remembered" and experience Adam Bokesch’s next chapter on Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, and YouTube.
