Creative trust is a leap before the landing is visible. Emma Ogier will release her debut album Fly 1111 on November 11 through Lost Highway Records, following her new signing to the label. New single Hands Tied brings her heart into a love song, pairing a clear melodic line with the lift of falling before caution catches up. The song keeps the euphoria believable, letting the vocal phrase do the climbing. Lost Highway co-heads Robert Knotts and Jake Gear heard that self-possession immediately:

Her songs are intimate and deeply human, but there’s also a restless creative spirit behind them. She isn’t interested in fitting neatly into a genre or following a prescribed path.

Produced by David Baron, the twelve-track record examines the sacrifices of a creative life and the need to trust yourself when direction disappears. The supporting parts leave room around her entrances instead of filling every measure, but the writing stays centered on a direct vocal story. Ogier’s fall schedule gives the album a moving runway, beginning with her Austin City Limits Festival debut and continuing with dates supporting Hovvdy. She will also join Joshua Slone at Red Rocks Amphitheatre before a January 2027 run with Bright Eyes at Brooklyn Paramount.
