If rage had rhythm and rebellion wore lipstick, it would sound exactly like this. Unleashing a visceral blend of grit and glam, Girl Tones return with their latest firestarter, Got It. The track snarls with distorted defiance as sister duo Kenzie and Laila stake their claim in the alt-rock vanguard. Directed by Chloe Tyler, the “Got It” video is an eccentric, frame-by-frame creation. It's simulating an arts-and-crafts acid trip pulled from the pages of I Spy books and poker night chaos. With a demented stop-motion video to match, the song barrels forward like a joyride through a color-warped dream of no apologies, which never slows down. Kenzie shares:
‘Got It’ is a very charged song for me. It was born out of anger and defiance. Ultimately, it’s about holding your ground in the face of uncertainty, and taking that leap of faith to fulfill your dreams.

Already supporting Silversun Pickups on tour, Girl Tones will soon crash into summer’s biggest festival stages, including Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, and Austin City Limits, before linking up with Cage The Elephant for a string of explosive fall dates. They’ve also signed with Matt Bates of Primary Talent International for international representation, which is a clear signal that their noise is only getting louder. Dive into the video madness of “Got It” and follow Girl Tones as they burn the stage and rewrite the rulebook on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
