New Jersey shoegaze outfit High. returns with their highly anticipated sophomore EP Come Back Down. Expanding on the immersive textures of their debut, the band delivers a heavier, more emotionally resonant sound across four tracks that dig deep into themes of love, loss, and self-discovery. To mark the occasion, they’ve also unveiled official music videos for Flowers & Dead, directed by Luke Carr. Front man Christian Castan says:

It feels good, and it’s a relie. We’re proud of it, and we’re happy to have our first-ever vinyl. This is awesome—it’s something we worked hard for. It took a while, but we’re here now and ready to go for the moon.

Publications like Stereogum and So Young Magazine have already praised the EP’s fusion of melody and distortion, with Atwood Magazine highlighting the band's ability to push beyond shoegaze conventions. The release of "Come Back Down" marks High.’s new creative partnership with Kanine Records, a significant step in their evolution. The band has been steadily gaining momentum, touring extensively throughout 2024 with acts like DIIV, Soul Blind, and Narrow Head. Their 2025 run continues with upcoming performances in Florida and along the West Coast, including an album release show at Baby’s All Right next week.
