Honesty to does the heavy lifting on tracks like Real Life and Linger reinforce that reflective tone, but Don’t Get Me Started featuring Sydney Rose adds another layer through its conversational intimacy. Their voices blend naturally, giving the song the kind of quiet emotional tension that lingers after it ends. speaking on the album Hudson stated:

I started writing these songs when I felt miles away from myself… The Long Way Home is about growing up, leaving, and realizing you don’t come back the same person, but also that maybe that’s the point.
