KATSEYE Turns "Hootie Frutti" Into A "Wild" Style Takeover

Just when the party looks finished, KATSEYE arrives to give it another pulse. The official Hootie Frutti video drops the group into an underground Brazilian function where fading energy quickly turns into a colorful late-night takeover. Director Alfred Marroquin matches rattling Brazilian phonk-inspired percussion with kinetic movement which lets the six members bring their own flavor into every frame. Food, luxury, flirtation, and attitude roar as the track toys with fun. There is something deliciously unruly about watching KATSEYE revive the room, making their chemistry as important to the visual as its choreography. "Hootie Frutti” pushes their pop language into somewhere louder, stranger, instinctive, and more WILD.


Across five songs, "WILD" gives that philosophy several different shapes. PINKY UP carries the playful confidence KATSEYE debuted at Coachella, while the Ed Sheeran co-written Animal explores the tension between polished public personas and private impulses. Bel Air slows the momentum to examine the ache of outgrowing something once cherished, and That Way closes with desire delivered from a position of control. The EP arrives during an especially expansive stretch for Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, with KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS currently screening internationally and THE WILDWORLD TOUR beginning September 1 after selling out its arena run in under 48 hours. Add appearances on TODAY and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and their latest chapter is moving across music, film, television, and live performances simultaneously. If BEAUTIFUL CHAOS introduced how big KATSEYE's world could become, 'WILD' sounds increasingly interested in discovering how far outside the lines they can take it.
