Some songs knock on the front door; YSL slipped through the underground and found the room already waiting. Lex Amarni has brought the previously SoundCloud-only favorite to major streaming platforms, widening the path into his self-built catalog. The 21-year-old UK producer and rapper approaches the release from both sides of the glass, shaping the beat as carefully as the voice moving across it. His producer-first instinct lets underground rap scrape against northern UK dance culture and unconventional electronic textures and the embrace of their friction. With "YSL" now released beyond SoundCloud, an early piece of his creative world receives a much larger doorway.

Amarni began experimenting with GarageBand as a child before teaching himself FL Studio through online tutorials. He spent years building beats for other artists, then stepped behind the microphone in 2024. The release lands while Amarni’s audience continues to travel well beyond the UK underground. His breakout track the kill 22" has passed 60 million Spotify streams and appeared across 22 Spotify Viral Charts, placing fresh attention on the catalog behind it. Collaborations with rvaia and 2muchmotion, plus production work with yukan, show how naturally Amarni moves between author, architect, and accomplice. More music is planned throughout 2026, so stream "YSL" and then follow Lex Amarni before the next signal escapes the hard drive on INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, YOUTUBE, SPOTIFY, and SOUNDCLOUD.
