Lexa Gates returns with a sultry new single, Latency. The Queens-born singer, rapper, and producer casts a spell with simmering vocals and a magnetic piano loop sampled from Hamilton Bohannon’s Tell Me You’ll Wait. Produced by Grammy winner Jasper Harris and Aaron Shadrow, “Latency” captures the ache of desire suspended in time. Her latest release embodies that space with equal parts anticipation, tension, and understated confidence.
