Marlon Hoffstadt & David Guetta Get "Caught Up" In The Rush

Written By: Big C

Two currents can collide. Marlon Hoffstadt and David Guetta prove it on Caught Up, where bittersweet reflection moves at festival speed. Hoffstadt’s restless trance language brings the spark, meanwhile Guetta’s instinct for scale turns that spark into a horizon-wide release. The smartest move arrives before the impact. Its builds brightness, pulse and density in measured layers, so the drop still has somewhere to go. Made just before Ultra Miami, the collaboration carries the suspense of a crowd waiting for one shared downbeat. Hoffstadt describes the unlikely meeting with the kind of disbelief the record turns into. He explains:
I grew up listening to David Guetta’s productions and have loved his music for as long as I can remember, so to now have a release together is absolutely mental. We made ‘Caught Up’ earlier this year, just before Ultra Miami, and I’ve been excited to put it out ever since.

Capitol Records released the track in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3. motion. The collaboration follows Guetta’s recent Man In Finance, while Hoffstadt carries the momentum of Das Ist Daddy toward EDC Orlando.
