A breeze rolls in off unfamiliar shores, carrying voices where there were once only colors. Monster Rally opens a new chapter with Rosella, a kaleidoscopic, Portuguese-sung single featuring Brazilian artist Sessa. Lush and psychedelic, the track drifts between tropicalia, dub, and dream-pop warmth. "Rosella" feels suspended between eras.marking a decisive shift for Monster Rally as melody and voice step into the foreground of his sun-soaked sonic world. Hazy guitars, gentle rhythmic sway, and collage-like textures is escapism without irony. Monster Rally explained:
When I started the process for making this features album, one of the first artists I knew I wanted to reach out to was Sessa. I’ve been a fan of his music for years, since I first found his vinyl at a local record store when I lived in LA. At first I couldn’t tell if he was a new artist or someone from 1970s Brazil. His music is the same way, he’s bringing the spirit of that era of music to his releases like no other artist is at the moment. ‘Rosealla’ is my take on that vibe of 70s tropicalia with some dub elements thrown in. Sessa lends his signature breezy vocals and guitar riffs to the track to make everything come together.

"Rosella" previews Monster Rally’s upcoming album Echoes Of The Emerald Sands, arriving March 27 via Flowering Jungle. The project represents a major evolution: his first non-instrumental full-length, recorded entirely from scratch in his Cleveland home studio. Rather than samples, the album leans into live instrumentation and an expansive roster of collaborators including TV Girl, Jordana, Mei Semones, Leisure, Miles Michaud of Allah-Las, and more—each voice adding dimension without diluting cohesion. Currently on tour across the West Coast with support from Rumtum, Monster Rally is translating this new chapter into a shared, live experience.
