If faith feels like a cage, then liberation must sound like this. NYC electronic heretics Public Circuit erupt with their blistering new single No Faith. Built on a jagged synth-punk pulse and a snarling vocal delivery, the track embodies the tension of questioning what society demands versus what the self requires. Accompanying the single is an unsettling new video directed by Malcolm Fisher, drawing inspiration from the nightmarish surrealism of Inland Empire and mapping the chaos of self-discovery onto imagery rooted in the Seven Deadly Sins. The result is a fever dream that confronts gender, faith, and belonging while leaning into visual distortion and dissonance. Frontman Ethan Biamont explains:
The oldest song written for the album, but the last to be finished. We played ‘No Faith’ over and over again for months for it to finally come together… it shifted the way we wanted to guide the album sonically with a sharp and biting character. For me, the lyrics are about rejecting the notions of the gender binary, specifically the rigid outlines of masculinity, and accepting myself as a queer person.

This release is an electrified anthem that claws at the rigid lines of belief, identity, and expectation. It’s the final preview before their sophomore album Modern Church, out September 12. "Modern Church" will cement Public Circuit’s collision of synth aggression and post-punk grit. The band will bring their feral energy across North America and Europe, including stops at Berlin’s 8mm Festival, the Netherlands’ Left Of The Dial, and a homecoming release show at NYC’s TV Eye on November 5.
