Feeling both suffocating and strangely liberating, the track descends, spiraling through distortion before detonating into metallic eruption. The official visuals mirror that collapse and clarity, chronicling a fall into apathy before the moment of decision that shifts everything. Bandleader Colton Walker frames the song as a confrontation with stagnation, stating:

This song is about the frustration of longing for something better when you feel stuck in a pattern. It’s easy to slip into apathy, even when you know it’s holding you back. Ultimately, though, it’s about the moment of clarity where you make a decision to do something about it.
