Suddenly, numbness has a pulse. Brooklyn trio Ringing turn frustration into force, pushing their soft-loud dynamics to a breaking point. Feeling both suffocating and strangely liberating, the track descends, spiraling through distortion before detonating into metallic eruption. The official visuals mirror that collapse and clarity, chronicling a fall into apathy before the moment of decision that shifts everything. Bandleader Colton Walker frames the song as a confrontation with stagnation, stating:
This song is about the frustration of longing for something better when you feel stuck in a pattern. It’s easy to slip into apathy, even when you know it’s holding you back. Ultimately, though, it’s about the moment of clarity where you make a decision to do something about it.

That tension bleeds into every riff. Slick percussion cuts across heavy, droning guitars while Walker’s voice hovers between detachment and revelation. "want2want2" serves as another glimpse into another cycle in the cosmic wash. Following prior singles incandescent, Ringing’s debut album will arrive March 20 via Julia’s War and Signal//Noise Records. An album release show is set for March 26 at TV Eye in Ridgewood. Until then watch "want2want2" now and connect with Ringing on Instagram and Bandcamp.
