Snow falls, hearts steady, and suddenly the quiet moments feel like everything. San Diego’s powerhouse collective SULLVN ushers in the holidays with the glowing new single Seasons. It's a tender ode to love that stays steady through shifting weather and shifting life. The track makes its on-screen debut in Tyler Perry’s recently released film Finding Joy. Led by Robert “Sully” Sullivan, the 10-piece ensemble blends retro soul, modern polish, and West Coast warmth into a sound critics call “nostalgic and new.” Sully however explains:
‘Seasons’ is for all of us celebrating this holiday with ‘just the two of us.’ It’s a tribute to intimate moments — the kind that matter most.

Their lineup reads like a hall of fame session roster: GRAMMY-nominated bassist James East, multi-genre sax master Tripp Sprague, and guitarist Brian Jordan, whose résumé includes icons like James Brown and Dave Matthews. Together, they create the rich, cinematic palette that turns “Seasons” into a holiday keepsake. This year has been a turning point for SULLVN. After signing with Big Noise Music Group, the band ignited buzz with their ska-infused cover of The Impression That I Get, featuring a cameo from The Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ own Dicky Barrett, and surpassing 150k views on its official video. Their magnetic live presence has taken them from festival stages at BeachLife and Bourbon & Beyond to shows alongside The Wailers.
