Demons In Your Choir is a record that immediately establishes weight, tension, and conviction. The Red Clay Strays open an upcoming album Grateful with an arrangement produced by Dave Cobb. The track builds from a restrained organ line into a full-bodied surge of guitar, rhythm, and gospel backing. The addition of a gospel choir, led by Shannon Sanders, elevates the track beyond a standard rock structure into a raw, live energized spiritual experience. There’s a deliberate contrast between grit and grace, allowing the song to move between reflection and declaration. Lead singer and guitarist Brandon Coleman said:
It’s a different sound. And this is a different-sounding album, genre-wise. It’s a good way to start it. Moment of Truth was a big album about having faith in dark times, looking to a higher power and Made By These Moments focused on realizing those dark times that you were having to have faith through, which made you who you are. You made it through when you didn’t think you would. And now we’re at a point where we’re grateful. Looking to God in whatever situation you're in is a denominator in all of the albums.

Compared to their earlier work, the band leans further into depth without abandoning their core identity. "Demons In Your Choir" sets the tone for an album built on confronting chaos and finding clarity within it. The official video, filmed in Mobile and directed by Matthew Coleman, lets the energy of the track dictate its movement. The release also anchors the rollout for "Grateful," arriving June 5 via HBYCO Records/RCA Records, and positions the album as a continuation of their growth rather than a reset. With a live schedule that includes Stagecoach, Austin City Limits, and major arena dates like Madison Square Garden and Bridgestone Arena, the band is scaling their presence. "Demons In Your Choir" captures that shift clearly, both sonically and visually. Let it run as The Red Clay Strays continue building toward "Grateful" and connect on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, X, and YOUTUBE.
