A love once lost, a hope untrue, Just say the words, if only to soothe. Los Angeles-based harmonic trio Trousdale has released their latest single, Want Me Back, a heartfelt ballad inspired by Lady A, blending pop and country influences seamlessly. As the second release from their highly anticipated sophomore album Growing Pains, the song explores the longing for reassurance post-breakup, even if it’s just a comforting lie. The official music video, directed by Trousdale and Aaron Kohn, takes a dreamy turn, transporting the trio into an 80s-inspired, angelic visual world. Lauren Jones says:

I went into our recording session thinking the song would end up straight country, and Quinn and Georgia thought it would be straight pop. Our bassist worked some doo-wop into the mix, and we found something really special to lean into.

With "Growing Pains" arriving April 11 alongside Independent Co., Trousdale delivers a cohesive, live-recorded sound crafted with co-producers John Mark Nelson and co-writers Mags Duval, John Mark Nelson, and Lawrence Rothman. The album’s first single, "Growing Pains," amassed nearly 200k streams in its first week, setting the stage for an emotionally resonant and musically rich full-length release. The Troufriends VIP Meet & Greet Experience includes an exclusive pre-show session, acoustic performance, signed zine, limited edition merch, and more. Stream "Want Me Back," watch the official music video, and follow Trousdale on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music.
