After 15 years away, Be Your Own Pet roars back! With What A B*tch, the track is a snarling anthem for anyone who’s ever been labeled “too much” simply for daring to be themselves. In collaboration with Blair Tramel of Snooper, the song arrives alongside a bold official video created. Highlighting their long friendship, the creative spark fueled the visual’s unapologetic energy of a riotous single that turns insult into empowerment. Drawing inspiration from her daughter’s first experience being called the word at school, vocalist Jemina Pearl Abegg shares:
This song is my rally cry for all the so-called ‘b*tches.’ I love us. Every woman I love and respect has been called that and worse just for existing, so reclaim it and wear it as a badge of honor.
