Behind The Lens: Halle Berry Holds On Tight As 'Never Let Go' Returns I Ultra HD

Sometimes the scariest thing isn't what's waiting outside your home. It's the possibility that everything you've been taught to fear might not be real. Halle Berry leads Never Let Go, a psychological horror-thriller from director Alexandre Aja, where a mother's determination to protect her twin sons becomes a terrifying test of trust. Arriving November 11, 2026, in an Ultra HD presentation, the 101-minute film explores what happens when the bond holding a family together begins to unravel.
A Family Bound By Fear
With a mysterious evil threatening the world beyond their doorstep, a mother and her two sons depend on their isolated home for survival. Their protection comes with one unsettling rule: they must remain connected at all times, even using ropes to tether themselves together whenever they venture outside.

For the family, those ropes represent safety, trust, and an unbreakable connection. But when one of the boys begins questioning whether the evil actually exists, the family's carefully maintained reality starts falling apart. Suddenly, the greatest danger may not be the mysterious presence outside, but the growing uncertainty between those trying to survive it.
Written by KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, the film features Percy Daggs IV, Anthony B. Jenkins, William Catlett, Matthew Kevin Anderson, and Christin Park alongside Berry. Aja, whose previous work includes Crawl, brings the story's psychological uncertainty into a survival setting where every decision carries potentially devastating consequences.

When Protection Becomes A Question
The film's central premise turns a familiar idea about family into something deeply unsettling. Parents establish boundaries to keep their children safe, but 'Never Let Go' asks what happens when those boundaries are challenged and the people enforcing them can no longer convince everyone of the danger.
The Ultra HD release brings the film to home audiences with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, alongside special features exploring its production. Making 'Never Let Go,' Creating Momma's House, and Tethered Together offer additional perspectives on the film's setting and central concept, while deleted scenes and the theatrical trailer complete the collection.

At its heart, 'Never Let Go' uses the simplest of childhood instructions to create an increasingly complicated nightmare. Hold on to your family, trust what you're told, and never break the connection.
But what happens when letting go becomes the only way to find the truth?
'Never Let Go' arrives November 11, 2026, in Ultra HD, with an R rating for strong violent content and grisly images.
