If your music were a flavor, what would it taste like and why?
If my music were a flavor it would taste like jerk chicken haha. It's hot, spicy, and everyone loves it.
What's a quirky ritual you have before hitting the stage?
I usually yawn a lot right before I'm about to perform. Yawning releasing all the tiredness, anxiety and any form of doubt.
What’s one social issue that you’re passionate about addressing through your platform?
Advocating for a motivated or driven career path for the youth. Leading by example to keep the youth out the streets and into their passions. The kids always matter and come first. They the future generations.
If you could time travel to any music era, which would it be and why?
It would be the 80s-90s funk and groove era. I like old school music like The Gap Band, Rick James, Michael Jackson, etc. I also like the 60s kind of like that Austin Powers movie.
What’s the weirdest thing you've ever written a lyric about?
Not sure if I wrote any lyrics that would be categorized as weird. My lyrics stem from experiences and my thoughts.
Do you believe in manifesting your goals, and if so, what’s something you've manifested recently?
I always manifest and pray. All 2024 I said I wanted to open up for someone. And now November 22 I am opening for Premo Rice. Look at how Jah works.
If your life was a movie, what would the soundtrack be like?
It's either one of these two songs: Soundtrack To My Life by Cudi or Bandit by Don Toliver.
What song from another genre do you secretly wish you had written?
Any and every Tame Impala song. Specifically New Person, Same Old Mistakes.
How does your music help people see the world differently?
It gives a different perspective to what they be used to or already have a point of view on. The thought of living in the hood might sound bad to people but I gained culture, awareness, tough skin and valued friendships from us all relating to hard times to wanting more out of life so I express that in my music vs "project baby" or trenches.
If you could have one superpower to enhance your artistry, what would it be?
Telekinesis for sure. I create music with my mind and thoughts. If my capacity was limitless imagine what I can do.
