Behind The Lens: QBird (Part Quatre)

Which song of yours is your personal favorite?

No Sweat aka B**** A***N**** is a song of mine that is my personal favorite. It has a melodic bop over strings which reminds me of years of playing the violin alongside a knocking baseline. It was written to remind all black queens there's constant dripping of melanin but you'll never see us sweat. It's available on all major platforms.

Who is your top female artist right now?

My top female artist is Nicki Minaj. My Big Sis "T" turned me on to her when she was still underground. She could see Nicki would be at the top even back then.

Have you been naughty or nice this year?

I have been nice this year, I launched a financial wellness seminar for new hires within my organization and I have spared many of my preferable repercussions.

What are your top three favorite candies or snacks?

Now we're talking! My top 3 favorite candies or snacks are Sour Gummies, Biscotti, and yogurt. Sadly, the yogurt is the only thing I can have on a consistent basis.

What has been the best era in music to you?

The best era in music was the early 90's; there was a lot of variety in production and lyricism was a standard. Once social media increased in popularity, then "popularity" stats gave value in the number of followers, a lot of writers dislike it but if we think businesses minded, what business wouldn't love to START with a consumer base.

What was the last book you read?

The last book I read was 1865 by Evingerlean D. B Hudson.

Which season do you like the most and why?

I like the North Carolina's fall, because you get a good mix of hot days and cool days- once it get's cold (I won't say winter) as NC has been notorious in recent years for having a variety of temperatures. Until we hit 70 again, I'm house bound.

Have you ever broken a bone, had surgery, or been into a fight/brawl?

I have had surgery for the first time recently and been in a couple fights, but I hate fighting and violence overall (while still understanding, at times of miscommunication, it MAY be necessary for some.)

If you could go back to one time in your life and redo something, when would you go back too and what would you change?

If I could go back to one time in my life and redo something it would be at the start of my job, and I would ensure to start a trade at the same time. That's a suggestion I give to many, this way when you depart you have more than the on the job experience allowing you to continue to climb the latter.

What is a motivational quote for next year and where can people connect with you?

With the Alabama Brawl being the highlight in our culture this year, I would say "If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair"- Shirley Chisholm
