A quiet place, it could be the studio or my room or living room.

A lion, King of my habitat. Gotta survive by all means. Stay versatile so creatively I have no limits or boundaries.

What’s one thing about life you wish someone told you sooner?

How to control and own my masters in this crooked industry. God is great all the time. Shout out my mama, Aunty and Grandma. #Swaura

What do you think is currently missing from the music and entertainment industry?

Higher payouts per stream when people stream your songs and projects.

What instruments or sounds would you like to collaborate with more in the future?

Any sounds that I like that can grasp my full attention. I like pianos and violins, guitars also.

Netflix is creating a project about you—what’s the title, genre, and story behind it?

God bless the child that can hold his own. Swag + Aura = Swaura,A urban inspirational uplifting project. How my dad left me and mom early on in life and we both bounced back. How the struggle built and shaped my life. From being homeless and jobless to owning a corporation.

What song of yours feels like summer—and what makes it connect with that energy?

What’s been your highest achievement in your music career so far?

When I met my boy Jason Stokes on Facebook and got down with mega music management. Then I was introduced to a platform, that particular site pays artists and creators $1 Per stream and $1 Per download.

What’s your favorite song off your latest project—and why does it stand out to you?
