Behind The Lens: 'Shadow Force' Brings Love, Loyalty & An All-Out War To 4K

Falling in love can change your priorities. When you're leading an elite multinational special forces unit, it can also put a bounty on your head. Kerry Washington and Omar Sy turn that choice into an all-out fight in Shadow Force, the Joe Carnahan-directed action thriller now available on 4K and Digital. They Broke The Rules For Each Other

Washington stars as Kyrah opposite Sy's Issac, two former leaders of the multinational special forces group known as 'Shadow Force.' They were supposed to lead the organization—not fall in love inside it. Once their relationship crossed that line and the pair had a son, protecting their family became more important than following orders.

Going underground doesn't make them disappear. With a large bounty placed on their heads, the organization they once commanded begins hunting them, forcing Kyrah and Issac to turn their training against people who understand exactly how dangerous the couple can be.

That changes the stakes of the action. Every pursuit and confrontation is tied to the decision that started everything: choosing their relationship and their son over the rules governing Shadow Force. What begins as two operatives protecting a secret becomes a family defending its right to exist.

Written by Leon Chills and Joe Carnahan, 'Shadow Force' surrounds Washington and Sy with Mark Strong, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, and Jahleel Kamara. Carnahan's 104-minute thriller pushes its central couple through escalating confrontations until staying hidden is no longer enough and their fight becomes an open war.

The new release gives that action a Dolby Vision presentation with Dolby Atmos audio, while its special features dig further into how the battles were assembled.
