How many times do you edit a song before releasing it? When do you finally know a track is done?

I usually go through a few little edits, just playing with it until it feels right. I love listening to the song while I’m at the gym, out for a walk, or dancing around my room, it’s all about how it makes me feel. There are always tiny things you could tweak, but when it finally clicks and feels right in my heart, I know it’s ready.

How do you decide on the cover art for a release? Do you take the lead creatively, or trust your photographer/director to run with the vision?

It really depends on the song, but usually I have a pretty clear vision going into a shoot. I love collaborating though, giving the photographer or director space to get creative and let their ideas shine makes it so fun, and usually the result is even better than I imagined.

Which streaming platform do you enjoy using the most—and why? Is it about fan access, functionality, payouts, or community?

I love interaction, so YouTube is definitely one of my favorites! Spotify is amazing too, especially with all its fun playlist features. But I’m actually an Apple Music user myself, so I love having all my favorite songs in one place there.

What’s the studio atmosphere like for you? Do you prefer solo sessions or feeding off other energy? Walk us through your ideal creative space.

I usually come to the studio with a rough draft idea, and then I work with my producer to bring it to life. Together, we play around with different sounds and vibes until the song feels just right. My ideal creative space is one where I can feel completely free to express myself and let my creativity flourish.

What’s your perspective on staying independent vs. signing with a label? Where do you see the biggest benefits—and biggest sacrifices?

I think both have their own advantages. At this stage, creative freedom is really important for me. I’m still experimenting and discovering who I am as an artist. I want to explore my sound and my style without limits. I do think signing with a label in the future could be amazing too, because you get a whole team to support you and help your music reach more people.

Where has been your favorite venue to perform so far? What made the experience memorable?

So far, I’ve only performed at festivals when I was younger, but I’m really excited to get back on stage and start performing again! There’s something so magical about sharing music with people live. It just gives me butterflies every time I think about it!

Do you think artists should be more vocal about political or social issues? Why or why not—and do those views influence your music?

Yes, absolutely! I think it’s so important to stand up for what matters and use your voice to shine a light on important topics. I just turned 18, so I’m still learning, but one of the things I’m most excited about as I grow my platforms is having the chance to make a positive impact and advocate for equality.

Are you making a New Year’s resolution—or starting/stopping something cold turkey? What’s your mindset heading into the new year?

I love New Year’s because it’s such a great way to realign with your goals. I usually make a little list of my mental, physical, career, and personal goals for the year. I don’t really believe in extreme changes, they usually don’t last. I think it’s the small steps that end up leading to the biggest results.

What song (yours or someone else’s) reminds you of winter—and why? Is it nostalgic, motivating, or calming?

I would say my song Sugarplum! It came out last year, and it really feels like me. It’s super girly and pop, but it still has all those cozy, festive vibes that make it feel like winter. I also have so many playlists with iconic Christmas songs that I love listening to throughout the season.

What’s a motivational quote or mindset you live by?And where can people connect with you and follow your journey?

I believe in following your dreams and working hard to achieve your goals. I also think it’s so important to stay true to yourself and not compare yourself to anyone else. I know it might sound cliché and is easier said than done, but we’re all so unique, and I think when we lean into that is when we shine the most. Practicing gratitude has helped me so much along the way.  Socials:
