Cherry Bomb Refracts Heartbreak Through "Myriad Reflector"

Rather than hiding the jagged parts of the past, the song treats them as openings for light. Built from reflection, memory, and release, fried synth-pop production meets her operatic vocal reach. This idea gives its speaker-blowing chorus more weight as Cherry Bomb haunted memories lose their grip while keeping the dance floor central to the transformation. The solo project from MisterWives frontwoman Mandy Lee draws its title from an early name for the mirrored fixture. Director Matty Vogel carries that philosophy into a music video filmed in Lee’s hometown of New York City. The subway becomes a moving mosaic, gathering individual lives into one shared frame. Friends and creative collaborators help the visual replace darker memories with flashes of color, motion, and community. "Myriad Reflector" follows Never Be Me, Digital Girl, and Sorry You’re Not Sorry, each adding another layer to Cherry Bomb’s popera universe.
