Some loves don’t just light up a room, they bend the stars around them. Indie-folk singer, songwriter, and producer Hunter Metts returns with a spellbinding ballad entitled Center Of The Universe. Wrapped in hushed vocals and tender acoustic guitar, Metts creates a sonic atmosphere where intimacy expands into something cosmic, underscoring love’s power to reshape life itself. Sincerity radiates throughout the track, where lush layers of viola, pedal steel, and gently rolling drums bloom into a chorus. Metts had to say:

‘Center Of The Universe’ is a metaphor for what love can feel like. I got married last August and it’s changed my perspective on a lot. She’s been there for me in ways I’ve never experienced. This song is about the most important person in my life.

The track anchors his upcoming EP A Crater Wide, and stands as one of his most romantic works to date. Equal parts hypnotic and heartfelt, the single captures the wonder of devotion while building toward the expansive storytelling of "A Crater Wide." The seven-song project was recorded at the legendary Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado, co-produced with Andrew Berlin, and reflects on the events and emotions that shaped Metts’ past year. Following tours with James Bay, Metts will embark on his debut U.S. headline tour this fall. Pre-save "A Crater Wide" due out October 10.
