FILLY leans into a queer love story with a twist, while The Teenagers’ return after a long hiatus injects indie-sleaze bite. I’m so excited for ’Serious’ to be my first track to kick off the new year. It’s fun and a heavy bass driven single that gives a sneak peak of what else is to come in 2026 for me! It’s a queer love story with a twist. <33 I feel so excited and honored that The Teenagers hopped on the track.

We recently started making music again after a long break and when FILLY came to us to work together on "Serious" we got super excited. This track is quite electroclash/indie sleaze/nu rave coded - both lyrically and musically, so it felt very appropriate to do a feature and work with our friend on this one.
Set against heavy bass and hook-forward melodies, the single plays It’s fun and bass-driven, built for movement and mischief. That world is vividly realized in the accompanying music video, which mirrors the song’s push-and-pull.
