Glitch in the system, rot in the rhythm, this ain't no side quest. Frankie & The Witch Fingers have leveled up with their new single Gutter Priestess, a grime-soaked, pulse-racing sonic assault paired with a fully playable video game. The track, a final teaser before the June 6 drop of their album Trash Classic, is as filthy and addictive as an arcade joystick in a back-alley bar. Synths screech like static bursts, basslines grind like broken gears, and vocals slice through the mix like a rogue virus. Inspired by a Burroughs-esque cut-up method, frontman Dylan Sizemore breathes chaotic life into a composition that’s equal parts digital nightmare and dancefloor exorcism. Sizemore had to say:

I was hooked up to Burroughs and his junk-sick energy. The whole thing turned into a brown, sharded nightmare but with a seductive dancey pulse.

That duality explodes through the “Gutter Priestess” browser game, built in partnership with FolksPat Media. While most bands give you visuals, Frankie & The Witch Fingers hand you the controller and dare you to play your way through a glitchy, punk-fueled fever dream. The band is currently shredding stages across Europe and gearing up for sold-out album release shows in London, NYC, and LA. There’s no need for cheat codes when the track itself is the final boss. Stream “Gutter Priestess” now, play the game if you dare, and preorder "Trash Classic" before the final level loads.
