Spotlights flare against a towering Statue of Liberty and the crowd begins to roars. MGK lifts off with the official video for starman. This time transforming an arena-scale production into something strangely personal, reframing fear and escapism as fuel rather than flaw. Directed by long time collaborator Sam Cahill, the visual features live tour footage into the narrative, using the massive stage set from the ongoing lost americana run as both backdrop and metaphor. It’s escapism with edge.

Sonically "starman" reimagines the iconic chorus of Third Eye Blind’s Semi-Charmed Life through a modern lens, threading nostalgia into new wave glow and pop-punk velocity. Written and produced alongside Travis Barker SlimXX, BazeXX, Nick Long, and No Love For The Middle Child, the song moves with explosive rock urgency while remaining undeniably singable. The release arrives as the lost americana tour rolls back into the U.S. After debuting in the Billboard 200 Top 5 and marking mgk’s third consecutive No. 1 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, the album continues to expand its universe.
