Seasons shift and tides must turn, a lesson learned as fires burn. Philadelphia’s indie rock quartet Mo Lowda & The Humble continue their sonic evolution with the release of two powerful new singles, 7.31 and Sara’s Got Big Plans. Each track explores themes of growth, closure, and acceptance, carried by the band’s signature blend of intricate instrumentation, raw lyricism, and undeniable chemistry. Both songs capture distinct emotional landscapes—"7.31" radiates a trance-like, late-summer warmth, reflecting on the necessity of change, while "Sara’s Got Big Plans" delivers an anthemic farewell to an ex-lover, complete with compelling gang vocals and dynamic rhythms. Frontman Jordan Caiola explains:

Folks are often terrified of change, but it’s an absolute part of the human experience. This song is a reminder to celebrate the small wins and let go of the fear.

Jeff Lucci (bass, guitar, keyboard, vocals) reflects:

More spontaneity and gut instinct went into this record than anything we’ve done before.

Recorded in California’s desert landscapes, the tracks resonate with the album’s theme—embracing transformation with both nostalgia and forward momentum. “7.31” is a gentle nudge toward embracing life’s fleeting nature. Meanwhile, “Sara’s Got Big Plans” embodies well-wishes and admiration for someone moving on, set against an unorthodox structure that defies traditional song arrangements. The upcoming album Tailing The Ghost, set to drop on June 20, was crafted entirely on the road, inspired by breathtaking locations such as Joshua Tree, Lake Travis, and The Rocky Mountains.
