MPH Gives "Warlord" No Room To Idle

MPH does not bring energy into a room by simply turning everything up. With Warlord, MPH gives that energy a direction. The UK producer wrote, produced, programmed, mixed, sang, and played every instrument on the new single. The track reaches back toward the 2014–2018 era of UK bass and jackin, and the high energy works because the timing stays organized. There's a difference between volume and momentum, and "Warlord" is positioned as a track built for movement rather than background noise. While Ben UFO helped build anticipation by repeatedly spinning it before release, MPH explained:
'Warlord' is more of a throwback tune for me from the golden era of UK bass music/jackin, think 2014-2018; it’s a staple in all my sets and always gets a good reaction.
MPH prepares to release Here, Forever on November 20 through DisOrder and Capitol Records. He wrote roughly ninety percent of the album while moving between buses, flights, soundchecks, and departure gates across fifty shows in four months, which gives the project’s all-gas framing a practical foundation. The album also includes Mirage with Skrillex, Long Goodbye with Nathan Nicholson, and Unconditional. MPH plays CRSSD Festival in San Diego on September 26 before launching his North American headline tour at REALM in Portland on October 2, with the run ending at Knockdown Center in New York on November 28.
