Daisychain, the Chicago-based psych-rock trio, surges forward with Rivers, a droning, guitar-heavy revelation that dives deep into emotional tension and unsaid truths. The single arrives with a moody, atmospheric video, setting the tone for their much-anticipated debut album All In A Name, out June 27. As their blues-infused riffs swell and crash, the band offers a soundscape which unravels interpersonal distance with roaring sonic depth. Produced by industry legend Sylvia Massy, this track marks a thrilling evolution in Daisychain’s creative journey, one where restraint and release meet in a storm of musical force. Rhythm guitarist and vocalist Sophia Williams explains:

‘Rivers’ embodies the unspoken words and dynamics between two people. It describes the static energy that you feel when you say one thing, but the words you really want to say hang in the air around you.”

Lead guitarist Frankie Sripada added:

Sylvia wanted a big wall of sound, so we beefed up the bass with heavy overdrive and layered guitars to create an engaging listening experience.

The music video, directed by Terrell Williams, juxtaposes serene white backdrops with gritty apartment jams and clever mirror shots, capturing both the clarity and chaos behind the song’s emotional weight. Inspired by rock icons like The Black Angels and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Daisychain leans into heavier textures and grittier moods. Daisychain is currently mid-sprint on the She’s A Freak Tour, with a special hometown show in Chicago on June 20. Watch the “Rivers” video, and pre-save "All In A Name."
