If a city could exhale its bruises, they’d sound like Crash Richard. He returns with the brand new single In The Hollow, a stark, soul-baring reflection carved from resilience and heavy quiet. The former Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros multi-instrumentalist channels the ache and pulse of North Philadelphia into a track which feels cinematic yet deeply human. Crash frames the track as a meditation on survival rather than surrender. Built on raw textures, weathered vocals, and an almost ghostly tension, Crash explains:

The song emerged from the sound of a neighborhood trying its best, but barely holding.

The song serves as another preview of his album Sensitive Devil, a project anchored in vulnerability, lineage, and the fragile task of staying soft in a hardening world. Each line carries the weight of quiet observations and emotional residue, mirroring the album’s devotion to telling uncomfortable truths with tenderness. As "Sensitive Devil" arrives, listeners can expect a body of work shaped by dust, persistence, and lived-in humanity. Early singles like On The Run (Looking Out), Swan AAA +1, and Fool Moon (Cruised) have already showcased the album’s intimate grit and jagged beauty. Recorded with Kosta Galanopoulos in a humble Eagle Rock studio, the LP leans into imperfection as a creative compass. Listen to "In The Hollow" which delivers a soundscape that feels hand-stitched, unvarnished, and alive.
