Some loves burn brighter the further away you get from them. With Twin Flame, The Aces deliver a glammed-up goodbye wrapped in disco shimmer and late-night longing. Out now as the latest single from their upcoming album Gold Star Baby, the track starts as a delicate slow-burn and explodes into a sweaty, strobe-lit groove. Drenched in glitter, yet laced with pain, “Twin Flame” captures that universal moment of knowing you need to let go… but your body hasn’t caught up yet. The Aces shared:
It’s about that tortuous in-between of not wanting to let go, but knowing you need to. We leaned into our Latin roots too, which makes this one feel extra personal.
Laced with Latin guitar flourishes and a Spanish bridge, “Twin Flame” is both a bold musical shift and a deeply intimate offering. It follows the lushly tragic “You Got Me,” which kicked off "Gold Star Baby’s" sapphic disco-pop universe, dropping August 15, The Aces will bring this celebration to life on the Gold Star Baby World Tour, with support from Lydia Night.
