Beginner Boys opens like a compass placed in a child’s hand. Simple Minds introduce their new era through Jim Kerr’s reflections on his twin grandsons and the qualities that might shape a good man today. Kerr’s restrained vocal meets Charlie Burchill’s unmistakable shimmer, allowing strength and gentleness to occupy the same melodic space. The song is the first doorway into Sacrosanct, the band’s new studio album arriving January 29, 2027 through BMG.
