The work week fades into static, the neon sign flickers on, and suddenly the only thing that matters is making it to Friday night. That feeling fuels Every Single Weekend, the latest collaboration between The Avalanches and Jamie XX. Built around the universal desire to break free from routine, the track explores the rush of stepping outside responsibility and into possibility. What could have been a simple club anthem becomes something far more layered thanks to the unique chemistry both artists bring to the table. The Avalanches continue their tradition of reshaping familiar sounds into kaleidoscopic collages, while Jamie XX injects the sleek pulse and emotional lift which has become the hallmarks of his work. There is joy embedded throughout the track, but also a subtle acknowledgment that weekends matter because life can often feel repetitive and exhausting. Rather than escaping reality completely, "Every Single Weekend" creates a temporary sanctuary from it.

The visual extends that idea brilliantly, parodying advertising language while simultaneously celebrating the absurd optimism often sold through commercials. This collaboration also continues a creative relationship that has quietly become one of electronic music's most rewarding partnerships. For The Avalanches, the release serves as another reminder of why their influence continues stretching across generations. Sometimes the most powerful invitation is also the simplest one: leave the grind behind for a while and enjoy the moment in front of you. Let us know your thoughts on the official video for "Every Single Weekend" below.
