'Fête-Tama' was inspired by some of the world music I’ve been listening to recently. I knew I wanted to have a dance-oriented song in the style of some of our other electronic fiddle tunes. I wrote the melody on keys and brought it to the band, and we flushed it out together. "Fête" means "party" or "festival" in French, and "Tama" references a type of African drum. I wanted to showcase Jason’s percussion expertise. But in the end, it became a fun dance track that gets everyone grooving.
