The Lemonheads roar back with Togetherness Is All I’m After, the latest single from their upcoming album Love Chant. Built on dense, scruffy guitars and Evan Dando’s unmistakable baritone, the track feels both weathered and vital, dissolving into a final whispered plea. Co-written with John Strohm of Blake Babies, the song delivers a powerful reminder of the band’s enduring melodic instincts and bittersweet touch. Recorded at São Paulo’s A9 Áudio with producer Apollo Nove and a wide cast of collaborators including J Mascis, Juliana Hatfield, and Nick Saloman. Dando’s voice, carrying the weight of decades.

The New York Times wrote:

The band reclaims its old indie-rock with scruffy guitar riffs and choppy drums behind Dando’s jaded baritone.

"Love Chant" marks the group’s first album of all-new original material in almost twenty years. That familiar gravity defines “Togetherness,” adding new layers of wisdom to the understated delivery, making the song feel like both a return and a renewal. The Lemonheads will embark on a North American tour beginning November 11 in Birmingham, AL, wrapping December 20 at Nashville’s Basement East. Stream “Togetherness Is All I’m After” and pre-save "Love Chant." Catch The Lemonheads live on tour this fall by following via FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, TWITTER, and YOUTUBE.
