May 10th, Xana is exploring new opportunities on the road with the release of her sophomore album The Sex Was Good Until It Wasn't. Over fifteen vivid tracks, she puts herself in the driver's seat, taking charge of her own story while offering listeners a place of refuge and freedom. In this recognition of her own missteps, Xana finds relief in taking accountability and learns to grow with the brand new single Monster. The building melodies of the single recounts Xana's most unsavory moments and some of her regrets, ultimately seeing the artist taking more responsibility for her actions. Xana expands on the song stating:

I wrote this song at a time where I was forced to look my mistakes square in the eye and take accountability for the hurt caused by my actions. I had to ask myself questions like: Why do you think your feelings go above the feelings of others? Why are you okay with lying to people who care about you? Why is it impossible for you to apologize? Why are you so defensive and why do you default to throwing punches when you’re hurt?

This summer, Xana will embark on a tour to support the album, The Sex Was Good Tour that will move across the U.S. this June and July beginning on June 1 in Portland, OR. Her devious and selfish behavior has led to the upcoming project which is available for pre-order here. You can also catch Xana on tour at Milwaukee's Summerfest with fellow scarlet FLETCHER with tickets available here.
