What’s the origin behind your name? Where are you from?
One of my classmates from High School just started calling me Manda B. My first name is Amanda and last name is Blakeney. Manda B. stuck with me ever since. Charleston, SC
If you weren’t doing music what would you be doing ?
I would be working in administration
If you could work with anyone in the industry who would it be?
I would love to work with Beyonce because she is a symbol and strength, perseverance and she is a "go-getter" like myself. I see a lot of her in me.
What is your creative process? Do you write or freestyle your music?
My creative process is I usually listen to a beat and let the beat lead me into writing. I just follow the beat and stories are created in my head. The beat usually tells the story and I just write what the beat speaks to me. However, most of the songs I have written are with no music, but currently, that is my creative process.
What do you have going on right now? (Merch, Music, Events, Collabs, etc)
I do have music currently out. "Feeling Good" and "Aah Oooh" is available on all platforms. I have a Halloween song and Christmas song coming soon as well.
What’s one thing you wish someone told you about the music industry which would have drastically changed your career?
It doesn't happen overnight.

Both. Sometimes I want to save the world and sometimes I want to break the rules.

Managing my own business relating to music, touring, writing and collaborating with the greatest.
