What can fans expect from you this year? Any new music, projects, or milestones you're aiming for?

EAGLES 2 the project. EAGLES 2 the listening party. EAGLES 2 the live experience. I’m gearing up to release what many of my people’s say is the best project and music I’ve put out yet. I worked on this all of 2025 and now we get to see the fruits of the labor come to life. So much visuals. I’m aiming for an impact that’s gonna leave everyone speechless. Much collaborations and much connections 2026.

You’re creating a song in a brand-new genre—what’s the name of it, and how would you describe the sound?

It’s a mix of multiple genres: jazz, trap, boom bap, classical, just pure instrumentation. Along with my image or brand I call ghetto punk, I would describe this sound as ghetto blues. I’m from New York with southern, west coast and overseas influences. It’s not one box I fit in except all.

Which of your songs best amplifies the feelings of love, freedom, or pure joy?

I gotta say Baby We Vibin? It’s very vibey but also romantic and nostalgically cute. It reminds me of a ballroom dance with a band playing the instruments. But then pans over to a warm place of paired isolation. I was feeling pure love when I made this - from my perspective, but also telling someone else’s story. Even the line “I follow yo rules no guidance” like I will learn you, I will grow with you, I will pay attention.

Which song in your catalog best expresses heartbreak, sorrow, or a time of loss?

Melancholy from EAGLES LP (EAGLES 1) is definitely that song. Heartbreak, grief, frustration, loyalty, everything in a 3 minute song. It was also therapy - like recording it and listening to it over and over at times I’m feeling down. Many of my listeners tell me that’s one of their favorites from me overall. I wanted to explain my pain.

If a new biopic dropped today, whose life story in music would you want to see and why?

I want to see a Tame Impala biopic. I’m not gonna lie, that is one bad man. I want to see how he learned everything and got through the ropes of creating the kind of music he does and how he put it together. He’s one of my influences musically. Honorary mention would be Chester Bennington RIP.

What’s a book, podcast, TV show, or movie you’d recommend right now and what drew you to it?

I would recommend Drumline. I watched it when I was younger and I was just drawn to the fact that the main character had the music gift but had to learn more through adversity and missed opportunity. Watching it again as an adult or someone that’s understood music way more than I did back then, will be crazy. I also like John Wick, WWE, and Naruto. Favorite books are the Harry Potter series.

What’s been the hardest life lesson you’ve had to learn and how did it shape your growth?

Not everything is in your control. Not being able to control your own mind. I tried to change the narrative every time to benefit in mine or someone else’s favor. It took me to places beyond reality. That’s the overhead tree for all the branches it can grow such as stress, heartbreak, grief, hardships, ignorance. It toughened me up to accept everything as it is. The feeling of letting go of it all.

Which family member gives you the most inspiration and what about them fuels your passion?

That award goes to my nephew. His grit, like his fight inspires me. To go through as much as he did and still push through and want to aim for more for better purposes no matter the hurdles. Like you're gonna fall on your back and get right back up. He reminds me there’s people you gotta do this for.

Where do you go, physically or mentally, when it’s time to create?

There’s no specific place - I’m usually in my room or walking outside. I put the music on and start listening for a few. Understand the emotion that the beat is triggering within me. Wherever the beat is going, is taking me there too. It goes back to all of my memories or emotions. I create my stories with music.

What’s a call to action for fans and where can fans connect with you to follow the journey?

You can find me everywhere at Meechy718. Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube, all that listen to my music. I am on the IG a lot so you can catch me there to chop it up. "EAGLES 2" on the way stay tuned for that.
