Some songs haunt, hover, and return like a neon-lit memory at midnight. INHALER leans into that pulse on their stunning cover of Kavinsky’s Nightcall. The Dublin four-piece infuses the cult-classic track with hazy guitars, atmospheric swells, and frontman Elijah Hewson’s haunting vocals. Fan demand pushed the band to release the single early on DSPs. Their cinematic interpretation is expansive, moody, and layered with the emotional textures that have defined INHALER’s evolution into one of modern rock’s most compelling bands. Discussing the inspiration behind their pick, front man Hewson explained:
I think because it was on a movie soundtrack, that kind of felt different to covering just a normal pop song. So that made us kind of lean into it a bit.

Recorded during their June trip to Australia for Triple J’s Like A Version, the soundtrack staple into something lush, immersive, and unmistakably theirs. The release follows their sweeping single Hole In The Ground, a panoramic rock piece. 2025 has been a milestone year for INHALER with chart-topping success in Ireland, top-tier UK placements, record-setting tour dates, and standout festival sets at Glastonbury and TRNSMT.
